DESCRIPTION:Due to recent weather\, the annual Baby Welcoming Ceremony was postponed\, but we now have a new date: Saturday 17 May 2025!Was your child born after March 2024? Council would like to invite new families to the 2025 Baby Welcoming Ceremony! Your child will be officially welcomed as a member of the Hinchinbrook Community by the Mayor\, and will receive a gift bag\, certificate and sapling to grow.Parents who have already registered for this year’s ceremony do not need to register again.The welcoming ceremony will be held from 9.00am Saturday 17 May 2025.Registration for new families will open soon!For further information\, please contact the Hinchinbrook Shire Library on 07 4776 4614 or email library@hinchinbrook.qld.gov.au.
