Link 2 Country 2025 – 23rd & 24th May
Our Vision
Our vision for the Link2Country Expo is to demonstrate a holistic approach to promoting appreciation for agriculture while fostering community engagement and empowerment. Our passion for agriculture and commitment to education, entertainment, and encouragement drives the success of this expo.
Educate
Bring together industry experts to deliver an Agri Life Skills Program, offering practical education not only to students but also to the general community. Targeting 500 students over 2 days. Teaching essential skills like changing a car tyre, handling cattle and horses safely, and operating equipment to name a few. This promotes a deeper understanding of agriculture and its related industries. Additionally, by connecting with industry experts and promoting training opportunities, we can encourage various pathways into agriculture and can promote an appreciation for agriculture.
Entertain
Our plan is to have multiple demonstrations such as working dog, cattle, and horse demonstrations, as well as opportunities to try hands-on activities such as operating an excavator. We promise a fun and engaging experience for attendees of all ages. Live music, auctions, operators’ challenges, and lucky door prizes add to the entertainment value of the expo, making it an event that people will look forward to attending.
Encourage
We will showcase the lifestyle opportunities available and encourage people to consider careers and hobbies within the Hinchinbrook Shire. Providing exhibitor space for Agri vendors and handmade markets not only supports local businesses but encourages entrepreneurship and innovation within the agricultural sector. Tendering out food and bar stations to local clubs for fundraising opportunities will strengthen our community.
